Fateful meeting~

chadwarwickChad isn't much of a flirt. In a pinch, sure, he can flutter his eyelashes and smile suggestively like anybody else, but he doesn't go to parties to flirt. He goes to mingle, which is a very different thing.
On the other hand, he's not the sort of guy who turns down the right kind of dare either, and one of his oldest friends dared him to approach the gigantic blond standing awkwardly in the corner of the room being the very definition of a wallflower. Chad doesn't even know his name, and he's gorgeous, and he's probably seeing someone; he made all of these arguments to said friend. Said friend just gave him a shove in the gorgeous giant's direction.
He fiddles with his hair in a reflective bit of decor on his way. Not that he expects it to go anywhere. It's a little liberating, not having any chance at all. That, and the three glasses of champagne he's had tonight; that's liberating too.
He just kind of sidles up next to him and words seem to leap out of his mouth. "Has anyone ever told you that you are the most... uncomfortable-looking person in this room?"
